Well, we’ve made it
through Mother’s Day, heading towards graduation time and Father’s Day. This time of year is often difficult for
blended families. I want to take the
opportunity to thank all of you stepmoms and stepdads for:
- Caring for your spouse’s kids
- Celebrating step kid’s birthdays and
graduations
- Showing up for games, recitals, award’s
ceremonies and other special events
- Wiping noses, changes diapers, and kissing
“boo-boos” (for those of you that have step little ones.)
- Ignoring their frowns, rolled eyes and folded
arms, when you care for your step kids.
(Deep inside they appreciate the attention, even though it’s quite
unpopular to acknowledge it.)
Thank You for
caring for another’s child, as if they were your own. You are the heroes of the
blended families.
Happy Mother’s Day, Happy
Father’s Day… I appreciate and thank you for your patience, love and
persistence in caring for your blended families.
Changes based on Requests from You!
- I’ll try to write the newsletter twice a
month, instead of once a month. I
appreciate your comments and interest- Thank you!
